Once upon a time, there was a Princess who would not dream. She was happy, and cheerful. She served her people well. No one knew she would not dream.
At night, when the castle went to bed, the Princess went to her room. She put on her embroidered nightgown, and lay down on her bed with silk sheets. She said goodnight to her ladies in waiting. When the door was safely shut, she lit a candle, and read until the book fell to her lap, and she fell to sleep, too tired to dream.
Her mother and father, the King and Queen did not know that their daughter refused to dream. T
